Frequently Asked Questions

1. I like the field just as it is. What are you planning to use the Meadow for? How can we be sure that it won't be
developed as a park or changed in some other way?

We have acquired the Meadow (apart from the north strip which remains in the ownership of Sunningdale) so that it
can never be developed and the village can continue to use it as they have always done for informal recreation.
There are no plans to change it.

2. Can I be sure that the Trust will never sell the Meadow for development?

The Trust has been set up to secure the Meadow against any future development. That will never change.

3. Can I be sure that my donation will be looked after safely?

All donations are being banked in the Trust's Lloyds Bank account and the Trust undertakes that they are only used
for the upkeep of the Meadow.

4. Can I be sure that the money will be used for its intended purpose?

As a Registered Charity, Trull Meadow Trust has a responsibility to make sure that all donations are used solely to
manage and maintain Trull Meadow.

5. Who are the Trustees?

A list of Trustees can be found at the About page.

6. How can I find out more details about the Trust's charitable status?

The Trust is a registered charity under the name Trull Meadow Trust, with the charity number 1190339. You can
check this at the Charity Commission website.

7. As the Trust now owns the Meadow, why do you need more donations?

The Trust has on going expenses which have to be paid, e.g. insurance and maintenance of the boundaries.

8. Will my donation remain anonymous?

The Trust undertakes that no list of donors will be published or circulated.

9. What is Gift Aid?

Donating through Gift Aid means the Trust can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give, provided you are a UK
taxpayer. It will not cost you any extra.

10. How do I claim Gift Aid for my donation?

If you are donating through JustGiving.com, or by completing the donations form, just tick the appropriate box when
you make your donation.

If you are a higher rate tax payer you may be able to claim back some of your Gift-Aided donation through your tax
return. See here for more details.

11. I can't afford to donate / I've already donated – how else can I show my support for this cause?

Become a  Friend of Trull Meadow  and help with ideas and any necessary maintenance if appropriate.
